Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War Summer Update Released
Joycity has announced a major summer update for their hit mobile game, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War.
The massive update introduces a new Star Ratings feature. The system will rate players’ battle performance against monsters and merchant ships after each battle. This rating is based on how much damage was sustained during each battle. If a player receives a perfect 3 star rating, a special “perfect kill” reward will be given.
The update also adds attributes to level 11 and higher monsters and merchant ships. Players will be able to take on threats above their own level and raise their chances by carefully taking advantage of the new attributes.
Buildings receive an expansion in this update as well. Total of eight buildings which include The Field, Lumber Mill, Silver Mine, Storehouse, and the Market will all receive S-level 1 expansions. The Tavern, Healer’s Hut, and Depot will expand to S-level 2. When the Market reaches S-level 1, new Uncommon Goods will be unlocked for sale.
Players have been asking for a server transfer and the long-requested feature finally arrives. The new transfer option is available to players with Fortress level 7- 15. All eligible Captains are able to move to a server that has been open for 30 days or more. The transfer will only be available if the target server has an existing higher level player. Also, if a player wants to move out of a merged server, only another merged server can be selected as a destination.
Rounding out the update are 2 new alliance skills. The first is the ‘Ultimate Fleet’ skill which increases the durability and armor of alliance member ships and second is ‘Mind Control’ which increases the attack and defense of alliance member pirates within Alliance Territory.
One last bit to the update is the stamina adjustment. Stamina consumed by unique ships when hunting monsters, trading, collecting, and during territory siege will be significantly reduced.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is a mobile strategy simulation game based on the popular “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise from Disney. The game has been enjoyed by fans all over the world since the release in May 2017.
