LEGO Star Wars Han Solo’s Landspeeder – 75209 Review
LEGO released a wave of sets a couple of months ago for the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie, including the Han Solo Landspeeder. Due to a vacation, I didn’t pick up any of these Solo sets at launch, though since there was a big discount on Amazon Prime Day, I did pick up some of the Solo sets, including this Landspeeder.
This set includes a Landspeeder, which features a open 2-minifigure cockpit, opening hood with storage compartment, removable engine, rear storage compartment with secret cargo, hidden wheels for a hover effect and 2 spring-loaded shooters. It also includes Han Solo and Qi’ra minifigures plus a Corellian Hound figure.
The main vehicle is a fun vehicle, its pretty solid and the small wheels underneath mean it can be played with easily by younger builders. It also means builders can reenact the chase from the movie with the Moloch’s Landspeeder set.
There are two missiles on the bottom of the vehicle, which I kept setting off whenever I was moving it around, so its worth being aware that they can be triggered easily.
I also love how the design has a “storage” area under the hood for extra blasters and a wrench, especially how they built a small engine into the design.
Building this set was a lot of fun and the designers did a great way of making it feel unique while putting it together and I certainly wouldn’t have been able to build it properly had I not followed the directions, but it took me a hour or so to build the vehicle.
With two great minifigures, especially as they give us a “early” version of the two characters, compared to the Han Solo figures in the other Solo sets like the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon. I always like how LEGO offer to different facial expressions on the characters and the addition of the Corellian Hound mini figure is a nice bonus.

OVERALL: The Han Solo Landspeeder set does offer some great value, it has two great minifigures plus a solid vehicle that will be fun to play with since it moves freely and has built in weapon. Though for adult collectors it doesn’t have much display value, since its pretty plain and isn’t an iconic vehicle. However I think for the money, its a fun set, perfect for younger Star Wars fans, I know I had a blast building it.
REVIEW SCORE: 8 out of 10
