Halloween Knocks Venom Off The Top Of The Box Office

It’s the time to be spooked and the new Halloween movie has pushed the Sony Marvel movie, Venom, off the top of both the Global and Domestic Box Office charts.

21st Century Fox also had a couple of their movies in the charts, with The Hate U Give and Bad Times At The El Royale sliding into the top ten movies.

comScore’s Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, “Universal and Blumhouse scare up a huge horror wave of enthusiasm with a scarily strong $91.8 million global debut of ‘Halloween’ in 24 territories including North America where it posted the second biggest horror debut ever and the second biggest October opening weekend on record.”
