Walt Disney Records To Release “In This Place” From Ralph Breaks The Internet
GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Julia Michaels performs “In This Place” from the upcoming Ralph Breaks the Internet soundtrack and is featured today as Zane Lowe’s World Record on Apple Music’s Beats 1. The track is now available through Apple Music’s “World Record” Playlist, as well as on the homepage of Apple Music.
Michaels recorded this second end-credit song as the pop version companion to the film’s “A Place Called Slaughter Race” with music composed by Oscar-winning songwriter/composer Alan Menken and lyrics written by “Ralph Breaks the Internet” director Phil Johnston, and GRAMMY-winning producer Tom MacDougall (Frozen).
In the vein of classic “I want” songs in the Disney canon such as “How Far I’ll Go” (“Moana”), the song showcases Vanellope’s desire to be part of the world outside Sugar Rush. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Ralph Breaks the Internet” hits U.S. theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.
Also debuting today is ‘Ralph Breaks Disney Hits’ featuring Ralph’s takeover of Apple Music’s Disney Hits playlist through Nov. 30. Enjoy here: apple.co/DisneyHits.
