Disney Magic Kingdoms Reaches €100 Million In Revenue
Gameloft and Disney have announced that Disney Magic Kingdoms recently passed the €100 million mark in gross revenue worldwide (which is around $114 million US dollars). With over 70 million downloads and counting since the game launched in 2016, Disney Magic Kingdoms brings cherished Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios characters and Disney Parks attractions to life on mobile for millions of players around the world.
To help celebrate this milestone, Gameloft and Disney added new Ralph Breaks the Internet characters and content to the game with its biggest update ever. Players can join Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz and their video game buddies for a mega event where they will work to prevent a virus from spreading in the Kingdom. This update features 12 new attractions, concessions and decorations, as well as new comfy costumes for Disney Princesses Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle and Ariel.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this key milestone for Disney Magic Kingdoms as it demonstrates how beloved the game is by players,” said Stéphane Roussel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Gameloft. “Working with Disney to bring their latest stories to life through the game is an honor, and we are delighted to continue offering players new, iconic content day after day.”
Disney Magic Kingdoms is available on the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store.
