Disney Parks Designer Ear Headband Previews

Disney has announced details and previews of some of the upcoming limited-release Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands that have been designed by notable celebrities, designers and artists!

Coming later this week, on July 5th, is a new headband designed by ALEX AND ANI. There will also be a special event taking place at the Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories store in Disney Springs from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. on July 5 to meet Colleen Fugere, VP of Brand Licensing and Partnerships at Alex and Ani.

And later this month, a headband designed by Noah Fine Art, which will be released on July 26th. Noah will be making an appearance at Disneyana in Disneyland park for a signing of the ears on July 26 and 28 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. and on July 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Next month, Disney is releasing a special Haunted Mansion’s 50^th anniversary one, which has been designed by Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine, who is best known as the Art Director of Disneyland park. The headband will be available at Disneyland Resort on Aug. 9, Walt Disney World Resort on Aug. 10 and online at shopDisney.com on Aug. 12.

This design will be available early to purchase at “The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving” a separately ticketed event to be held on Aug. 7 and 8 at Disneyland Resort and at the “Disney Villains After Hours” a separately ticketed event to be held on Aug. 8 at Walt Disney World Resort.

A Princess Leia Bun-inspired design from Star Wars actress Ashley Eckstein will be released at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort and online at shopDisney.com on Oct. 4. It will also be available early at this year’s D23 Expo at Disney DreamStore. Disney will also be releasing two other ear hats at the D23 Expo including a Hipster Mickey by Jerrod Maruyama and another one by SHAG,
