Review: NBX 25th Anniversary Coffin Dolls (Diamond Select)

Last year, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas celebrated its’ 25th Anniversary of gracing the silver screen for the first time. To celebrate, a lot of companies released special merchandise, including our friends over at Diamond Select Toys. Included in DST’s 25th Anniversary Collectibles were a pair of their popular Coffin Dolls, featuring Jack Skellington and the love of his afterlife, Sally.

Packaged in special silver coffin shaped window boxes, Jack Skellington comes with his podium, and Sally comes with her basket of treats for Jack.

 

Each doll has limited articulation and, because they cannot stand on their own, have a special stand to help them be displayed out of box.

 

Jack looks awesome when displayed with his podium, informing the citizens of Halloweentown on his plans for taking over Christmas. Sally’s bountiful basket of goodies to help woo Jack is a great addition to her doll.

 

It’s always great when Diamond Select releases Jack and Sally together in a set of dolls or figures, because they really look great displayed next to one another. They complete one another very well, both in the movie and in doll form.
