NYCC ’19 Highlight: Bandai’s Toy Story Cinema-Rise Models

Editor’s Note: Shortly after the conclusion of New York Comic Con last month, some things came up personally for my family and I. While everyone is okay, things became such that I had to take a break from event coverage until now. Even though it is delayed longer than I had hoped, please enjoy this final round of coverage from the convention.

 

While at New York Comic Con, I swung by the Bandai Hobby Booth, where they had showcased some of their model kits. Included in what was on display was the Toy Story Cinema-Rise Models of Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Let’s take a look.

 

Each model kit contains all of the parts necessary to build either Woody or Buzz Lightyear. Additionally, the model kit comes with alternate faces and different hands as well as articulation, which give the models the ability to have different poses, looks, and expressions.

 

 

When fully assembled, Woody measures about 6″ high, with Buzz Lightyear clocking in slightly shorter at 5 1/2″ high. Each model features some awesome details and look spot on to their animated counterparts.
