Review: Hasbro’s Frozen II Doll Collection
Finishing up my coverage of the items that the Hasbro team sent me to celebrate Frozen II releasing this weekend, here is a look at some of their doll releases. From single release dolls to deluxe dolls to sets, there are some really beautiful pieces for the holidays.
Single Pack Fashion Doll- Mattias
For the single packed Fashion Doll assortment, Hasbro sent over the new character Mattias, former Lieutenant of the Arendelle. Since he is one of the only new male characters introduced in this movie, it’s not surprising that he joins Kristoff in this lineup.
NOTE: Packaging states that dolls do not stand on their own. I personally find it hit or miss with them. Not all can stand on their own accord, but a lot can… at least for pictures.
Arendelle Fashions Dolls
Each Arendelle Fashions Doll comes with a nightgown outfit (which they are dressed in), and a day gown outfit. Both Anna and Elsa are featured in this collection.
Singing Anna and Elsa Fashion Dolls
Each Singing Fashion Doll features a small snippet of a Frozen II song that the corresponding character sings. Elsa sings “Into the Unknown”, while Anna sings “The Next Right Thing”. Their outfits are the same as the regular Fashion Dolls outfits.
Sister Styles Elsa Doll
This doll line comes with a hair braiding tool. I am very inept in braiding any sort of hair, even with the help of this tool. Thankfully, my landlord’s daughter, to whom I gave this doll to after opening it up and reviewing it, said I did a pretty good job. I am sure she took a bit of pity on me.
Here are the four steps on the back of the packaging.
Much harder than it looks!
Your kid a fan of Anna instead of Elsa? Anna is also available in the Sister Styles collection.
Elsa & the Nokk Doll Set
Inspired by the scene that was featured in the very first trailer that was released for Frozen II, here is Elsa taming the wild Water Spirit, the Nokk.
This piece especially I decided to keep in packaging because it displays very nicely, and it will go into my Disney collection.
Sledding Adventures Multi-Pack
This doll multi-pack contains the regular releases of Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. Olaf looks to be the same as the one that is packed in with Anna in a buddy pack that’s being released (not shown in this review). Also, it seems to be that Sven and Kristoff’s sleigh are both exclusive to this set.
If you’d like to add any of these dolls to your collection, or pick them up for someone you love for the holidays, they are appearing on the shelves at most major retailers for the holiday season. You can also head over to Entertainment Earth, where these pieces, and more, are up for order/pre-order.
Once again, thanks to the team from Hasbro for send me all of these fun Frozen II items for me to take a look at this week. After reviewing them, most of these items will be making some kids very happy this holiday season.
