Review: Toy Box Rey (Jedi)

Today, I check out another Star Wars Toybox action figure from the Disney Store. The second version of this character (and I believe one of the few, if not only, characters to get more than one version), here is Rey from The Rise of Skywalker.

Previously, I looked at the version of Rey from The Force Awakens. This version of Rey also comes with her lightsaber, but that is where the two figures stop being the same. I love how the head and body are new sculpts. Disney could have easily tried to get away with having the original head sculpt on this new costumed body, and I doubt many would have had an issue. However, they did not, and I applaud them for it.

 

I was able to pick this figure up for clearance at my local Disney Store Outlet during the holidays. She could still be around some Disney Store locations at a great price, if you are looking to add her to your collection. It’s also great to see Disney still utilizing the design form that the Disney Infinity game franchise became known for.
