The Masked Singer is back, and their first elimination this season was of Kermit the Frog.

No, not former Kermit performer Steve Whitmire, or current performer Matt Vogel. Kermit the Frog himself.

Kermit is no stranger to guest appearances. He’s performed alongside finalists on America’s Got Talent, competed in rap battles on Drop the Mic, and voiced Crumpet the Frog on Disney Channel series Amphibia. He’s even been a guest on QVC. Yet this seems oddly different.

And it’s not like Disney even owns Fox. It owns the production units, now known as 20th Century Studios and 20th Century Television, but the broadcast station is still part of Fox Corporation.
