DisKingdom is unsure of exactly when Disney entered the Italian market, however the Venice store was mentioned as early as 1999 in USA Today. Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD stopped broadcasting in Italy, last May, in order to push its viewership to Disney+. Disney Channel had been on air in the country since October 1998.
