Review: Mike W. & Randall Pixar Toybox Action Figures

Recently, almost every one of my local/ local-ish Disney Store and Disney Outlet locations permanently closed. Now there are just 25 locations nationwide. One of the things I will miss most about visiting these stores is finding some great deals on clearance items. This past summer, when I was out in Lancaster, PA for a small trip, I found this Pixar Toybox 2pk of action figures from Monsters Inc. Let’s check out Mike Wazowski and Randall Boggs.

 

Both Mike and Randall feature multiple points of articulation. However, because they were packed in together, neither of them come with accessories.

 

I appreciate the fact that Disney made Randall partially translucent, showcasing his ability of going invisible in the movie. Both of these figures have a great resemblence to their counterparts in the former Disney Infinity video games, which were the inspiration for this line of action figures.

 

I am (slowly) adding these Toybox figures to my collection, but I will admit that it will be harder now that Disney has drastically scaled back their physical locations. Still, the hunt continues…
