Review: Muppets Select “Best Of” Series 1 Action Figures

You might have seen me showcase the wonderful Muppets Select action figures that our friends over at Diamond Select Toys have released over the years. However, due to the growing popularity of the line, collector’s who missed the first waves of figures could not get some of them. In order to fill the need for these characters, but also to keep manufacturing and price point costs down, Diamond Select has re-released some of the most popular characters again in a “Best of” Select Series 1.

 

The “Best Of” Select Series 1 comprises of three sets: Kermit and Miss Piggy, Rowlf and Scooter, & Fozzie and Gonzo. While each character came with more accessories when they were originally released, they still have some of their more popular accessories.

 

Each figure also features multiple points of articulation. Let’s open the packages.

 

 

I personally missed out on the Rowlf release previously (he came with secondary characters Mahna Mahna and Crazy Harry), so I am very happy to have been able to add him to my collection.
