Review: Mickey Through the Years Die Cast Race Cars (Disney Parks)

For today’s review, I check out a trio of die cast cars that I picked up earlier this year when I was at Walt Disney World. Paying homage to Mickey Mouse, these three cars feature Mickey in three of his most iconic versions. Let’s check them out.

I used to be big in to collecting Disney Racers and die cast cars in general, I have toned it down over the years. That being said, occasionally a car or a set catches my eye that I want to add to my collections. This is one of those sets. I really like the different versions and the sculpts… and how they all came together in one set. Even though two of them are similar in look, the totally different look of the Steamboat Willie one is pretty cool. I think it is definitely the stand out one of the set for me.

 

While I am not sure if this set is still available at the Disney Parks, I do know that Disney is always coming out with new die cast car designs featuring their beloved characters, as well as teaming up with companies like Hot Wheels to do something similar.
