Review: The Rocketeer Premier Collection Statue (Diamond Select Toys)

For today’s review, I take a look at a beautiful statue sent over to me by Diamond Select Toys to take a closer look at. You might recall a review earlier this year in which I looked at a Legends Bust of The Rocketeer. This statue was released alongside of the bust in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the movie.

This resin statue is limited to just 3,000 pieces and features The Rocketeer in an action pose, ready to fly up in to the skies. The sculpt also includes flames emitting out of the jetpack, as if he is about to take off.

 

These details are pretty amazing. As with mostly all of statues that Diamond Select puts out, the sculpt is spot on, and invokes a life-like quality to the statue.

 

Each statue comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (shown above) and is hand numbered on the underside of the base.

 

I would have loved to have displayed this at my place next to the bust that Diamond Select also sent me, but as soon as my brother saw it, I knew that I’d lost it to him. That being said, he proudly has it displayed at his own apartment, and enjoys it thoroughly. So, thanks again to Zach and the team at Diamond Select Toys for sending this over for me to review… you made my brother very happy. Hahahahaha.
