Canada: Toys”R”Us holding Star Wars events, May 4

Canadian younglings and their padawan parents, take note: there’s Star Wars fun near you on May 4.

Toys”R”Us Canada is celebrating the Star Wars Day with events and sale items, as well as encouraging cosplay.

At all locations from 1 to 2 pm, there’s Star Wars Lightsaber Academy. “Younglings can learn legendary Lightsaber™ moves and get a personalized certificate,” while supplies last, “to certify their Jedi Knight status!”

Then from 2 to 3 pm, there’s a Lego make-and-take event. “Kids can build their very own a LEGO^® STAR WARS™ Naboo Starfighter™,” one per child, while supplies last.

The Dufferin Mall, Kitchener, Langley, Laval, Quebec City, and South Edmonton locations will also have “cool backdrops” for photos.
