Bandai have Announced a new Star Wars Star Destroyer (A New Hope) 1/5000 Scale Model Kit. It will be released in August and is priced at $74.99.

There is also a limited edition light-up Star Wars Star Destroyer Lighting 1:5000 Scale Model Kit, which is priced at $129.99.

The Star Destroyer from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope is finally joining the Bandai model kit line up as a 1/5000 scale model. The finished model kit will be an impressive 12.6 inches long and includes a display stand.

Display alongside the included in-scale Millennium Falcon and Blockade Runner ships to recreate the scenes from the film.
