Latest Details From The D23 Expo On Doctor Strange

Today at the D23 Expo 2015 taking place in California, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to give fans updates on casting for Marvel’s “Doctor Strange”. There was a video greeting by Benedict Cumberbatch, who stars as the title character, followed by a pre-production piece that offered fans a taste of the look and feel of the upcoming film, opening in U.S. theaters on October 26, 2016.

Kevin Feige confirmed that Chiwetel Ejiofor will be playing the part of Karl Mordo and that Tilda Swinton will be playing the Ancient One. Also during the event they showed off some new concept art for the series that gave fans their first look at the design of star Benedict Cumberbatch’s costume!
