Mickey Mouse Club Vinylmation Series Coming Soon
Disney are set to release a new Vinylmation blind box series called the Mickey Mouse Club, featuring 7 commons and a chaser. The series will be released on the 5th of February, at D-Street in Downtown Disney in Disneyland, Pin Traders at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World and online at Disneystore.com. Each blind is priced at $12.95 each.

oh…that’s clarabelle cow…?
If anybody is unfamiliar with the old Mickey Mouse Club TV show, during the opening animated credits, a bunch of characters are tossing Mickey up in the air using what looks like a fireman’s net. That’s where you see Clarabelle, Daisy, Horace, and the Ranger. Mickey’s wearing the drum major outfit you see above. I guessing two of the variants are Donald and Horace Horsecollar. How do you have Daisy and Clarabelle without their boyfriends. Plus Donald had a starring role in those credits; a lot better than what they had Mickey doing. I’m happy to see that Daisy is not in the ‘hooker’ mode they’ve made her out to be lately. I hope Roy is the chaser but that would be too obscure (look him up!). I really like this set and may pick it up. I haven’t bought any vinyls since my last trip to WDW last July as none of the newer releases did enough for me to lay out 12.95 a pop. I wonder if this set is only going to appeal to old geezers like me who actually watched the show back in the day.
