Wolverine 3 Villain Cast

While no official plot has been leaked, the cast of Wolverine 3 is starting to take shape. Returning for the last time is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, and now added to the list is Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl, Netflix’s Narcos) as the main villain.

Who Holbrook is playing remains a mystery but according to Variety.com, Holbrook is playing a chief of security for a global corporation that is in pursuit of Wolverine.

Rumors were swirling that the final installment of the Wolverine trilogy would be from the “Old Man Logan” comic book story line but this new casting certainly changes that. Perhaps Holbrook will be part of the Weapon-X or Department K program.

Wolverine 3 is slated to begin filming in May with James Mangold returning as director and its theater release is scheduled for March 3rd, 2017.
