On-Set with Marvel’s “The Defenders”

Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series, The Defenders, that has our favourite small-screen heroes crossing paths has begun filming on location in New York City. So far, Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox have been photographed on-set, and they seem to be having an amazing time. The official plot and character relationships has not yet been released, but it is unlikely that the photographs below hold any merit to Daredevil’s and Jessica Jones’ relationship.

The Defenders is an eight-part miniseries featuring Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, as well as a supporting cast boasting Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Jeri Hogarth, and Malcolm. Appearances will be made by Elektra, Daredevil’s mentor Stick, and Colleen Wing (from the Iron Fist series). No villain has been officially confirmed, but Sigourney Weaver has been cast to portray the nemesis. The Defenders will premiere on Netflix in 2017. Check out the teaser trailer below:
