Spider-Man Went Undercover at a Bronx School

Tom Holland, the star of Spider-Man: Homecoming, recently revealed that he went undercover in a Bronx High School to prepare for his role as Peter Parker. In a Facebook Live session, Holland spoke about the coolest thing he did for a movie. He said the coolest thing was that “[he] was enrolled in a high school in New York, in the Bronx as a secret”. He went on to say that no one knew who he was or what he was doing as he had a fake name and accent. According to him, “It was really fun”.

After his three-day stint, he revealed his true identity to the students, but they didn’t believe him:

“‘I told one kid at the school,’ said Holland. ‘I was like, “Hey man, I’m actually Spider-Man.’ He did not believe me.
‘He’s like, “I don’t believe you,’ and at the time, I hadn’t made the movie so I didn’t have any pictures to show him, to prove that I was Spider-Man. And he did not believe me at all.'”
