Details On Marvel Battlegrounds For Disney Infinity 3.0

During the Disney Interactive presentation at the D23 Expo, Disney announced some new details about the upcoming Disney Infinity Marvel Play Set, including the Play Set’s name, “Marvel Battlegrounds” and that it will feature the first four-player local co-op available in-game.  The play set will also include its own unique story.

The Play Set will launch in Spring 2016.  Disney fans were also given a closer look at Marvel’s Hulkbuster and Ultron characters, which will be available in November 2015.   During the trailer we got to see the Hulkbuster beating up the Green Goblin.

Marvel’s next movie, “Captain America 3: Civil War” is also due out in the spring and sees many of the Super Heroes battling against one another over the registration act, so could this be tied into the story?
