Details On Disneyland Annual Passholder Changes

Disney have announced details on a change to Disneyland’s Annual Pass which include new options and a price rise.  These price rises are effective from today.

Here are details on the new tickets:

Signature Plus is priced at $1049 and includes unrestricted 365 day access to the parks, parking, Photopass, 20% off certain merchandise and 15% off selected dining locations.

Signature is priced $849 which includes park access (blocked from December 19th-January 2nd), parking, Photopass, 20% off select merchandise and 15% off selected dining locations.

Deluxe is priced at $599 which include park access, parking, 10% off select merchandise and dining locations.  Blocked dates apply through holidays and selected busy days.

SoCal Passport is priced at $439 and is only available for existing holders and also has restricted access on blocked days through holidays and busy days.

SoCal Select is priced at $329 and includes 10% off selected merchandise and dining locations.  Certain dates are blocked through holidays and busy days.

Many more busy days have been blocked out by Disney to try to reduce crowds, especially with a large portion of the park being closed due to the new Star Wars land.

“We have to look at ways to spread out our attendance throughout the year so we can accommodate demand and avoid bursting at the seams,” Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek told the Wall Street Journal.

    The Deluxe pass doesn’t include parking actually. A shame – I would’ve gone for that pass if it did, haha.

    It’s getting so pricey now! I renewed mine and my friend’s pass already but will have to think about it next time it comes around. The parking passes are really valuable but the I feel the Photopass won’t at all make up for it. I’ve heard theories that they’re trying to cull the number of passholders as well…
