Two-Time Emmy Award-Winner Derek Hough to Serve as Master of Ceremonies on “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60″
Disney have announced that Six-time “Dancing with the Stars” champion Derek Hough serves as Master of Ceremonies when the ABC Television Network presents “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60.” Hough will guide viewers through 60 years of Disney magic, showcasing sensational song and dance performances and special appearances in the star-studded two-hour special “The “Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60,” airing SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST).
Past “Dancing with the Stars” champion, Witney Carson joins Hough as the duo lead a team of dancers down Main Street U.S.A. to an enormously popular Oscar®-nominated song from a classic Disney animated motion picture.
Additionally, Hough will headline a spectacular dance tribute with a medley of Disney’s most popular and beloved music.
Hough and Carson join previously announced Sir Elton John. More performers will be announced shortly.

The Disneyland Resort will continue its 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration through Summer 2016, extending the three spectacular after-dark shows created for the special anniversary – the “Paint the Night” parade, the immersive “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show and the all-new “World of Color–Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney.” The exciting celebration, which also features sparkling décor, themed food and merchandise, will conclude on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016.
