A Closer Look: Mezco’s 2016 One:12 Collective
As we look forward to Toy Fair this coming weekend, I want to share with you pics from last week’s Toy Fair Preview Event from Mezco. The big announcement last week was the continuation of the popular line from 2013, The One:12 Collective, and the inclusion of some new lines to the mix, including Marvel. Let’s take a look.
Marvel
The major tease for this show, and the best looking figures on display by far, was that Marvel will be joining The One:12 Collective. Included in the 2016 lineup are Daredevil, Captain America, and Punisher.
DC Super Heroes
Continuing on last year’s successful release of The Dark Knight Batman, this year sees a lot of classic DC characters like Shazam, Green Arrow, Superman, and The Flash, along with three releases from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie: Superman, Batman, and Armored Batman.
Hanna-Barbera
The first release in the Hanna-Barbera line, Space Ghost, includes Blip the Monkey.
Judge Dredd
Universal Monsters- Frankenstein
Included in the Universal Monsters releases for 2016 are both colorized and black and white versions of Frankenstein.
Star Trek: The Original Series
Another exciting line coming in 2016 to The One:12 Collective is Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, and Lieutenant Sulu from the Star Trek franchise.
I know that I, for one, am very excited on the future of The One:12 Collective and can’t wait to see what Mezco releases this year and beyond.
