New Executive Chef At Morimoto Asia

During the transition from Downtown Disney to Disney Springs there has been a number of new restaurants opening up increasing Disney World’s huge variety of dining options. Morimoto Asia is one of these places. Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s Disney collaboration opened up back in September of 2015 and is the chef’s first pan-asian restaurant which is housed in a 36 Foot 2 story building located at the Landing in Disney Springs.

The restaurant has a new executive chef, Yuhi Fujinaga. After being based in New York’s Bar Basque and Sea Grill as well as Spain’s Casa Solla and Gaminiz restaurants he is now overseeing the Disney World restaurant’s day to day culinary operations.

He first met Chef Morimoto in his home country of Hawaii where they quickly bonded over their shared love of cooking.
