Walt Disney World & Disneyland Seasonal Pricing On 1-Day Tickets Confirmed

Following some rumours earlier this week, Disney have confirmed that they will be using a new Seasonal Price on 1-Day Ticket at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, which will be starting from Sunday 28th February.

Here are some official details on the pricing:

How does it work? Each month is divided into value, regular and peak days with an 8-11 month calendar available for viewing online. Here’s an example, if guests plan their visit for September, they’ll have a variety of options, including many days in the value period, which will give them the opportunity to pay less for a 1-Day ticket. If they plan to visit during a peak period, like the winter holidays, they will pay more. Purchasing a 1-Day ticket in a non-peak period, or choosing multi-day tickets and annual passes, will provide additional flexibility and value.

The new flexible pricing will only apply to single day tickets and won’t effect multi-day passes or annual passholder tickets.

Currently Single Day tickets are priced at $105 and $97 at Walt Disney World and $99 for Disneyland parks.

Here are some details on the new pricing:

Walt Disney World:

  • Value: $105 per day at the Magic Kingdom & $97 at the other three parks.
  • Regular: $110 per day at the Magic Kingdom & $102 at the other three parks.
  • Peak: $124 at the Magic Kingdom & $114 at the other three parks.

Disneyland

The new price for Disneyland & California Adventure.

  • Value tier: $95
  • Regular: $105
  • Peak: $119

These ticket price changes are being done to try to help reduce crowding at peak times and follows a similar change that Universal have implemented recently.
