Review: LEGO Star Wars Resistance Trooper Battle Pack (75131)
Hey guys! Finally winding down from Toy Fair, but I wanted to do a quick review of one of the LEGO Star Wars build sets I got at the LEGO VIP Event. Even though it was a common retail release back in 2015 for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, I did not have the Resistance Trooper Battle Pack (75131) yet, so this was fun to build this weekend.
This Battle Pack includes (3) Resistance Troopers, (1) Resistance Officer, and a Resistance Army hover vehicle. At 112 pieces, this set retails for $12.99, which is a great price for getting four Minifigures and a vehicle.
While not a hard build to do, it was enjoyable. First, let’s take a look at the Minifigures.
With some of the multiple character battle-type packs in the past, all of the Minifigures had the same head print. The fact that all four of the figures have different prints is a nice detail. I also like the new two-piece helmet design for the troopers.
The vehicle, for me, is also quite a lot of fun. Room for two of the troopers and a big gun that can rotate around and fire blue studs (the Trooper guns also fire the studs).
Overall, this is a great addition to my Force Awakens LEGO collection, which is slowly growing. Hope this spring with my tax refund I can add a couple of the bigger builds to my collection.
