New Duck Tales Logo Announced

This morning, in preparation of the Duck Tales number featured in tonight’s Dancing with the Stars episode, Oh My Disney announced the logo for the upcoming Disney XD Duck Tales reboot set to air in 2017.

DUCKTALES - Disney's "DuckTales," an all-new animated comedy series based on the Emmy Award-winning series, will again star Disney's enduringly popular characters: Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Donald Duck. Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series is set to debut in 2017 on Disney XD. (Disney XD)

The logo is a thrilling throwback, not only to the original Emmy-winning animated series (which ran for 100 outstanding episodes starting in 1987 and was a hallmark of the Disney Afternoon programming block) but also to the original source material (the highly influential comic books of Carl Barks). It’s a logo that promises mystery, adventure, and fun.
