Sneak Peek at “Tangled: The Series”

After months of waiting, it’s finally here! The first official peek at the new Tangled series, set to premiere on Disney Channel in 2017. First announced in 2015, the new series takes place between the film and the short, Tangled Ever After. Many of the original cast are reprising their roles, including Zachary Levi (Flynn/Eugene), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), and Jeffrey Tambor and Paul F. Tompkins as Pub Thugs. Ashley Judd joins the cast as Rapunzel’s mother, Queen Arianna, as well Eden Espinosa as the handmaiden Cassandra. Adding to the excitement, Alan Menken and Glenn Slater will be writing original songs and music for the series. Menken and Slater wrote the score and lyrics for the film, earning an Academy Award for Best Original Song for Rapunzel and Flynn’s duet, “I See the Light”.
