Highway In the Sky Dine Around Begins Tomorrow at Walt Disney World
Starting tomorrow, December 2nd, Disney World will be launching “Highway in the Sky Ride Around” will debut!
This intriguing event is essentially a restaurant crawl for guests via the monorail, thus the name. With this event. guests will be given boarding priority onto the monorail for a spectacular dining journey to Contemporary, Polynesian Village and Grand Floridian resorts.
Guests will check in at “The Wave” at the Contemporary for your welcome cocktail. Next you will be whisked off via monorail for island inspired drinks and appetizers with a South Pacific Flair. Guests will then return to the monorail and experience Citricos at the Grand Floridian. There one can enjoy a fabulous entree with a wine pairing. Finishing up with sparkling wine and artisanal cheese samples in the comfortable lobby.
Your private monorail will return you to the Contemporary resort where you will have your own private patio with desserts and coffee to enjoy while you watch Magic Kingdom fireworks.
Highway in the Sky Dine-Around is offered Tuesday, Friday and Saturday beginning Dec. 2. Reservations open Nov. 29. (No dine-around between Dec. 23 and Dec. 31). Cost is $150 gratuity included, tax is additional. Valet parking is included. For reservations, 407-WDW-DINE.
