Super Bowl Features Disney Springs Style Drone Show
While I was watching the half time show featuring Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl, there was an opening segment featuring hundreds of small drones behind her, representing the US Flag. My first reaction was, they look very similar to the “Starbright Holidays” show that was used in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World this winter.
And according to the Orlando Sentinel, the drones used in the Super Bowl show, were the exact same model, The Intel Shooting Star, which can be controlled by one computer and pilot.
Both Disney and the Super Bowl used 300 drones for their shows and while Disney’s drones fly at 400 feet high above Orlando, the Super Bowl show was filmed above Houston at a height of 700 feet and was filmed before the event.
