Sunday Roast Coming To Epcot’s Rose & Crown Dining Room

Disney have announced that they will be bringing a classic British meal, the Sunday Roast to the Rose & Crown Dining Room , within the United Kingdom area at Epcot in Walt Disney World.

The Roast will only be served on Sundays and the meal includes a roasted meat, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. At Rose & Crown Dining Room, the dish will alternate weekly among Roasted Pork, Turkey or Lamb with Mint Sauce. Customary sides such as roasted potatoes, peas and carrots, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy accompany the roast.

Our Take:

I’ll be honest, as a British visitor, the last thing I’d want is an expensive “Take” on a classic home cooked meal, especially as the image shared has got red skinned roasted potatoes which I’ve never seen on a British roast dinner (which I’ve just had just moments before writing this story!)  But I’m sure this will be a great addition to the pub.
