Animal Kingdom’s Vet Hospital Under Refurb

Rafiki’s Planet Watch is home to an on site Vet clinic where guests can watch procedures be done on the animals housed at the park live. The vets and equipment are the latest of tech used for these kinds of procedures and it allows guests to learn about types of animal care and what goes into making sure the animals are very healthy and happy.

It has been learned that the on stage clinic will be undergoing an extended refurb until mid june. The refurb will include adding two CT scanners which will aid vets in diagnosing animals. With this addition it will make Animal Kingdom one of the only two zoos in america to have CT scanners on hand. However all other attractions at Rafiki’s Planet Watch will remain open for guests to enjoy during this time.
