Walt Disney World Files Permit for Improvement and Changes in Park
Walt Disney World has recently filed several permits that will improve and add changes to certain features in the parks.
The first permit describes an expansion in Frontierland for a new retail building that includes framing, plumbing and electrical work to be completed which is scheduled to start on 4/24/17. The second permit states “Disneyland – North Service Area – Roundhouse – Tenant Improvement: Install a New Storm Water Lift Station, Valve/Pump Vault, and Storage Tank at Southeast Corner of the Train Maintenace Building, associated piping for gravity discharge into existing storm water conveyance facilities. (Consists of storm water trenches gravity-piped to a new underground pre-cast concrete vault, with pumps discharging to a new aboveground 2,500 gal poly storage tank on concrete foundation, with new gravity-discharge piping connecting to existing stormwater piping.) ” This is scheduled to start on 4/20/17. The final permit states “Disney – BOH – Primeval World Diorama – FY17 Show Rehab – Tenant Improvement: Install two new raised platform with two projectors, electrical, extend exiting guardrails. All work inside the building. ” This is scheduled to be done on 4/24/17.
