Recently it was revealed by Gazillion that Marvel Heroes would be coming to the consoles (Xbox One & PS4) this spring as Marvel Heroes Omega. And today it has been revealed that the closed beta version of the game will be coming out on the PlayStation 4, this Friday. With the Xbox One version to follow shortly after.
To become part of the closed beta, players can purchase one of many various Founder’s Packs, which will be available to purchase on the PlayStation Store or via the game’s official website this Friday.
There will be variety of different Founders Packs available including:

- X-Men (Beast, Wolverine, Rogue, Storm and X23)
- Guardians Of The Galaxy (Rocket Raccoon and Starlord)
- War Machine
- Deadpool
It also looks like some of these packs include team-ups and sidekicks as part of the packs, though we won’t know what’s included or the price, until they appear on the PlayStation store on Friday.
It’s also worth noting that in Europe, the packs will only be available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, SA, Spain, UK.
There is also an added bonus for PlayStation Plus members, as they will gain some added bonuses such as a free Daredevil costume, in-game currency discounts, and other limited-time exclusive access to select Heroes such as War Machine and Iron Fist, which will then become available to other players 6 months later.
The console versions will also be bringing local co-op play to the game for the first time.

Our Take:
I’ve really enjoyed playing the PC version, but have been looking forward to a console version since the rumours started a while back. I will be jumping into the Closed Beta, though I’m unsure exactly what pack I will purchase to begin with.
While the game is a “Free to Play” game, with a free character offered to new players, the closed beta will be limited to those players who are willing to pay, it also means Gazillion is able to test out the servers and system before allowing everyone in for free.
Will you be joining the Beta?
