Star Wars Half Marathon 2017 Merchandise Revealed

DisneyParks Blog and Mary Myers, Event Merchandise Product Developer, released photos of the merchandise being sold during the Star Wars Half Marathon- The Dark Side this weekend.

Myers commented, “Guests will feel the power of the dark side with this year’s assortment [laughs],” exclaimed Mary. “I loved building off the success of last year’s inaugural race merchandise. We brought back fan favorites like car magnets and pins that look like miniature medals from the races. New this year is an overall event weekend shirt that has a silver chrome treatment used on the lettering and graphics. It really makes the shirt shine like stars from a galaxy far, far away.”

Select items for Runners participating this weekend will feature Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers. Special merchandise will also be available for those participating in the Star Wars Dark Side and Kessel Run Challenge.

Quotes from the Star Wars saga have been included on the merchandise such as Han Solo quotes on the Kessel Run Items. Also, Dooney and Bourke bags have been made for this occasion. The bags have red and black Star Wars character designs with a commemorative logo hangtag.

 

All these products will be at the RunDisney Health and Fitness Expo on the following Dates and Times:

  • Thursday, April 20 – 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, April 21 – 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 22 – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m
