Additional Viewing Areas for Fireworks Being Added Next Week
According to WDWNT, Magic Kingdom will be utilizing some backstage areas to make more room for guests during the first show of “Happily Ever After” and the last show of “Wishes.” This was a major concern for me as someone who wanted to see these two shows. I had actually planned on watching from a resort because i was so anxious about the crowds on May 11th and May 12th for the shows.
Disney is apparently planning to open up space in the cast member parking lot next to the Main Street Bypass which is behind Tomorrowland. Personally i am not sure how the view is from there if you are going to attempt to photograph the last Wishes or first Happily Ever After but if you simply want to enjoy the shows then it should be fine. The days this will happen are May 6, 11, 12 and 13. I will keep everyone posted regarding where i will be livestreaming the fireworks from next week as i am preparing for my upcoming move. In the meantime, check out my blog post dedicated to Wishes and its Legacy.
