Raven-Symoné and Issac Ryan Brown to Host ‘Disney Parks Presents a Disney Channel Holiday Celebration’
Disney rings in the holidays by sharing the joy of music and the magic of Walt Disney World Resort in “Disney Parks Presents a Disney Channel Holiday Celebration,” available exclusively in the DisneyNOW app to viewers who sign in with a pay TV subscription, beginning FRIDAY, NOV. 24, and premiering FRIDAY, DEC. 1 (8:30-9:30 p.m. EST), on Disney Channel. Hosted by “Raven’s Home” stars Raven-Symoné and Issac Ryan Brown, the special will include performances by “Descendants 2” stars Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson, “Andi Mack” star Asher Angel, and stars of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies” Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly.
The show also features an exclusive tour of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, opening in summer 2018, by “Descendants 2” star Booboo Stewart, and heartwarming moments spotlighting three families from across the country who are dedicated to philanthropic efforts within their communities.
Guiding audiences through Walt Disney World are Raven-Symoné and Issac Ryan Brown, who play mother and son on hit Disney Channel series “Raven’s Home.” Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson, stars of the global hit Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants 2,” will take the stage at Cinderella’s Castle to perform classic Christmas songs “White Christmas” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” respectively. Hollywood/Republic Records artist Carson will also perform a holiday rendition of chart-topping single from the “Descendants 2” soundtrack, “Chillin’ Like A Snowman.”
Additional performances and appearances include “Andi Mack” star Asher Angel, who will perform an original song, “Snow Globe Wonderland”; and Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, stars of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies,” will perform “Wonderful Christmas Time.” Hollywood Records artist and ABC’s “Boy Band” winner, In Real Life, will perform an original holiday song.
The DisneyNOW app offers Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD full episodes, short-form video, Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) and games. Viewers who sign in via their participating cable, satellite or digital programming distributor have access to all content and 24-hour live streams of each network. DisneyNOW is available on iOS, TVOS, Android/Kindle and Roku. Fire TV, Android TV and the Web will launch in 2018.
