Disney-Pixar Hires New Screenwriter For ‘Toy Story 4’

Disney has hired Stephany Folsom as the screenwriter on “Toy Story 4,” which is set to be released on June 21st 2019.  She is filling in for Rashida Jones and Will McCormack who left the project in November.

She quit the project over “philosophical differences,” and that they believed women and people of color did not have “an equal creative voice” at Pixar.

Stephany Folsom is a writer, known for Missing You, 1969: A Space Odyssey of How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon and Ds2dio 360 (2012).
