LEGO Disney Princess Mulan’s Training Day (41151) Review
LEGO’s latest budget Disney Princess is the Mulan Training Day set, which includes a Mulan mini-doll figure, plus Khan the horse figure. Plus it also includes a family temple, turning training dummy, catapult, tea ceremony and a cherry blossom tree. Other accessories include a sword, boulders, fan, teapot and a teacup.
Here is a look at the packaging:
This is an interesting build, rather than one major piece with a few minifigures, it is a few different smaller set pieces. Though I did enjoy seeing how far I could catapult the silver balls.
The main temple is very basic and the smaller accessory pieces aren’t much more complicated either. This set is aimed at younger Disney fans and feels almost like a Junior set.
The horse is a nice additional piece and I really like the Mulan minifigure, its very different to the usual minifigures and I love the dress bottom piece, it completely makes this set stand out. Another good thing about this set is it comes with a few different accessories for Mulan, a fan, a sword and a training stick, so it does offer some different variations.

OVERALL:
For fans of Mulan, this is going to be a must have, since the Minifigure is fantastic. The build isn’t idea but for younger fans, they will enjoy having a little set piece for Mulan to play with. It’s perfectly priced for the budget end of LEGO, unfortunately, there isn’t a huge amount of choice at this end of the market for Disney related LEGO sets compared to Marvel or Star Wars.
