Thanos Marvel Select Action Figure Review

Diamond Select’s latest Marvel action figure release is Thanos, just in time to tie in with the release of Avengers: Infinity War.  This huge action figure stands over 7 inches tall and is a very heavy solid beast of a action figure.

However its too solid, since I found my figure to be extremely stiff and didn’t have much movement in the joints, which was the only disappointment.

There is a real evil look to both of the heads, they’ve done a fantastic job in capturing the essence of the Mad Titan.  Though I personally prefer the version with a helmet as the bald head reminded me of the Koopa Troopa from the live action Super Mario Bros movie.

The figure does have a “rough” look to it, where I found it to be a little weathered, but I like that look.  I’d expect a huge villain who has been destroying things to have a suit that’s a little beat up and wouldn’t be perfect, so I think this worked well.

The packaging on this Thanos action figure is huge, though my came a little beat up from delivery.  It’s a great box to see on the store shelf but the amount of plastic did seem excessive.

OVERALL:

This is a fantastic action figure, its huge, its solid and full of detail.  It’s one of the best Thanos figures out right now to tie in with the Infinity War movie and a easily recommendation.
