New Pandora Interactive Banshee Coming Soon To The Animal Kingdom

Disney have announced a new Pandora – The World of Avatar Interactive Banshee, will be released on May 27th, at the Rookery at Windtraders in the Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

Katie Thompson, Global Merchandise Strategy at Disney Parks Merchandise told the Disney Park Blog:

“The interactive banshees are wildly popular with Guests exploring Pandora. This banshee celebrates the first anniversary of this exotic land at the theme park, and offers guests a unique collectible from their visit.”

The bioluminescent landscape-inspired banshee will be packaged with a display perch and a Certificate of Authenticity. It contains authentic sounds and includes three ranges of motion – mouth, head, and wings – that are controlled by hand.

This limited release banshee was inspired by a moss-covered wall found at Pandora that’s become an Instagram sensation.
