The Lion Guard | Simba & Rafiki Set Review

While visiting my local Toys R Us recently, I picked up this twin pack featuring Simba and Rafiki from the Disney Junior series, The Lion Guard. This set includes two figures, Rafiki and a poseable Simba.

OVERALL:

This twin pack is a mixed bag, one figure is excellent, while the other isn’t.  Lets start with the bad, the Rafiki figure has no moving parts and was a disappointment, while it has lots of detail, I felt this was a case of false advertising, since the packaging does state “Poseable”.

However the Simba figure is fantastic, its huge, its bright and all four legs can be moved, meaning he can be put into different positions, which will make this an amazing toy for a younger fan of the show.   I think this figure alone is worth the price of the pack, but its a shame a little more attention had gone into the Rafiki figure.
