Hasbro Disney Princess Comics Collection Rapunzel Action Figure Review
Back at San Diego Comic Con Hasbro announced a line of Disney Princess Comics action figures based off of the art of Amy Mebberson. The figures are exclusive to Target and are a part of the Disney Princess Comics Collection line of products. Today we are going to take a look at the Rapunzel figure from the collection.
Packaging 5/5
The figures are packed in a very nicely designed box. The box shows off the figure very nicely. The box has images of the various princess all around it and included a comic strip on the back.
Sculpting 4.5/5
The sculpt is nicely detailed and captures the artist style perfectly in 3D. The only negative thing I have to say is that the hair is a little heavy, but once you get the figure position to where the hair touches the ground it’s not a problem.
Paint 5/5
The paint is perfect! There is no sloppy paint anywhere. If you are unable to find her in store I would’t worry too much about getting one with a bad paint job if you order one online. The colors are all accurate to the character.
Articulation 3/5
Rapunzel has a ball jointed head and articulation in her shoulders, elbows and waist. The way the figure is sculpted for one pose make the articulation pretty pointless. It is great for kids who will actually play with the figure though.
Accessories 3/5
Rapunzel has only one accessory which is a display base. It is crucial though to help her stand with out falling over due to the weight of her hair.
Overall 4.5/5
If you are a fan of the Disney Princess Comics or Tangled this figure is a must have! It is a great figure and at $9.99 is a pretty great deal.
