Tonight: LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection adds Darth Vader, Scout Trooper

While the Academy Awards are tonight, if you’re a fan of LEGO and Star Wars, you’ll be staying up late for something else entirely.

At midnight Eastern Time, 9 pm Pacific, 4 am GMT, LEGO is releasing its newest LEGO Star Wars helmets, Darth Vader and Scout Trooper. As is the case with all LEGO products, they come with a premium price, $49.99 USD/$69.99 CAD for the Scout Trooper and $69.99 USD/$99.99 CAD for Darth.

Made for ages 18+, the Scout Trooper (item 75305) has 471 pieces, while Darth (item 75304) has 834 pieces, because of his hidden life support system.

Previous releases in the series include Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, and TIE Fighter Pilot. They’ve also taken the concept to Marvel, with an Iron Man helmet.
