High School Musical Stars Latest Guests of Fan Expo Canada

Canada’s largest pop culture convention, Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, today announced two of the leads from the High School Musical series as their latest guests. Lucas Grabeel and Corbin Bleu will each be appearing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Autographs are $70 and photo ops are $85 for either actor.

Corbin’s additional Disney credits include a role in Jump In!, filmed in the Toronto area, and appearing as himself in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Lucas can also be seen in Halloweentown High and Return to Halloweentown, and was Jiku, leader of the Noblins, in four episodes of Elena of Avalor.

The convention has yet to announce panels, but fingers crossed that the duo will take part.

More Disney, Marvel, Star Wars guests

Previously announced Disney names at the convention include Josh Gad (Frozen), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May in five Marvel movies), Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett, Moana), Alan Tudyk (countless Disney voices), Jonathan Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones), and Patrick Warburton (Soaring Over California, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command).

Star Wars cast include Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka), Gina Carano (The Mandalorian), Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian), Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian), Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon).

Perhaps my favourite is John O’Hurley, who has lent his voice to countless characters in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Gravity Falls, Hercules, House of Mouse, Kim Possible, The Legend of Tarzan, Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse Works, 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Pepper Ann, Phineas and Ferb, Teamo Supremo, The Emperor’s New School, and The Lion Guard. He’s also appeared in live action on K.C. Underwear, Pair of Kings, and The Wizards of Waverly Place, and is the voice of the safety announcement at Disneyland’s Astro Orbitor.

UPDATE, August 14: Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca in the Star Wars sequels) was to appear, but was today announced as being unable to, and has been removed from the article.
