Disneyland Artifacts Featured in New Video from Disney Museum
Disneyland’s 70th anniversary was marked a few weeks ago, and so yesterday, Walt Disney Family Museum marked the occasion with a a new video. They’ve pulled a selection of artifacts from their storage, and staff share how the items are personally meaningful to them.
Featured are an animation cel from the Disneyland TV series, concept art for The Pirates of the Caribbean walkthrough attraction, Main Street U.S.A. facade models, and a Schuco Disneyland-Alweg Monorail toy set from 1961.
Finally, a museum donor’s father had a wooden surveying stake signed with autographs from studio employees, Imagineers, Disneyland construction workers, and Walt Disney himself.
